Help us make music in Frome for the next 25 years
This season is Frome Symphony’s 25th, and we’re celebrating with our most varied programme yet: Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev alongside women composers and composers of colour, plus our much-loved children’s Christmas concerts.
We’re a charity run by volunteers, and our ticket prices are kept low so everyone can enjoy live orchestral music. That means we rely on the generosity of local people and businesses to cover the real cost of putting on a concert. Whether you can give £25 or want to partner with us for the whole season, you’ll be helping to bring great music to Frome.
Donation
You can make a one-off donation and if you are a UK tax payer we can also claim gift aid on your donation – worth an additional 25%.
Advertising
Buy an ad in our programme and reach up to 400 people per concert.
Sponsorship
Put your name to the music. Sponsor a concert, a soloist or a piece, or choose an amount that suits you.
Donation
Every concert we put on costs far more than ticket sales bring in, and your donation helps close that gap. Whether it’s £10 or £1,000, your gift goes straight towards our concerts, our children’s events and our work with young musicians. If you’re a UK taxpayer, tick Gift Aid and we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no cost to you.
We will add your name in our programme as a thank-you (optional).
You choose the amount
If you choose Gift Aid, you confirm: I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
Advertising
Reach local concert-goers with a black and white advert in our A5 concert programme. Our audiences are loyal, local and read the programme cover to cover, making it a great way to put your business in front of the Frome community. Choose from a range of sizes, for a single concert or the whole season. We usually sell around 80-100 programmes per concert, most of which are read by 2-4 people: potential reach: 400 people.
Advertising Rates
- Business card size / small advert £20 per concert
- Quarter page £30 per concert
- Half page £50 per concert
- Full A5 page £75 per concert
And discounted advertising for the season (four concerts):

- Half page — £150
- Full A5 page — £200

Sponsorship
Put your name to the music. Choose from our set sponsorships, from a rehearsal to a guest soloist, or pick an amount that suits you and we’ll find the right thing to put your name to.
We offer sponsorship levels of £100, £200, £300 and £500, or we can offer a bespoke corporate sponsorship package which could include (on top of the Platinum package):
- Additional Free front row tickets to our concerts for your staff, clients or guests
- A private drinks reception or pre-concert talk with our conductor, Mark Gateshill, our Director of Music since 2009
